Memorial Hospital is proud to announce that its Respiratory Therapy Department has once again successfully passed a sleep accreditation survey conducted by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC). This achievement recognizes the hospital’s continued commitment to providing high‑quality sleep care services, including home sleep testing and in‑lab sleep studies, in accordance with nationally recognized standards.
The accreditation reflects the hard work, clinical excellence, and attention to patient safety demonstrated by the Memorial Hospital Respiratory Therapy team.
“Sleep accreditation validates the quality of care our team delivers every day,” said Taylor Woodman, RRT, Respiratory Therapy Manager. “It confirms that our processes, technology, and patient care meet rigorous national benchmarks.”
Woodman emphasized the importance of offering these services locally.
“Sleep disorders affect overall health in significant ways,” she said. “Having accredited sleep services available at Memorial Hospital allows patients to receive timely diagnosis and treatment close to home, which makes a real difference for individuals and families in our community.”
Memorial Hospital extends sincere thanks to its Respiratory Therapy staff for their dedication and to the community members who continue to place their trust in local healthcare services.
