Memorial Community Health, Inc. is pleased to welcome Mandy McCarthy, APRN, FNP-C, to the team of family medicine providers at Memorial Health Clinic in Aurora and Clay Center.
Mandy earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha and her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Clarkson College in Omaha. She is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) and board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Mandy brings nearly 25 years of clinical experience across a wide range of health care settings, including medical-surgical, women’s health, acute and emergency care, and more.
“I chose family medicine because I enjoy caring for people through every stage of life,” Mandy said. “I have a special passion for women’s health, but I also love caring for the entire family—from children to grandparents. After more than 20 years as a nurse, becoming a family nurse practitioner felt like the perfect way to combine my experience with the opportunity to build long-term relationships and help people stay healthy.”
Mandy said patients can expect honesty and open communication. “My goal is to make every patient feel comfortable and heard,” she said. “I’m here to help—we’ll work together to find the best plan for your health, one realistic and sustainable step at a time.”

Mandy currently lives in Spalding with her husband and their son, and she also has two grown daughters. She plans to relocate to the Aurora area in the future. When not at work, Mandy enjoys spending time with family, traveling, reading and learning something new each day. She is active in her church and enjoys being involved in her community.
