MCHI is proud to recognize Jennifer Heiden as our July Care Matters Champion.
As a Social Worker at Memorial Community Health, Jennifer supports patients, residents, and families by helping meet their emotional, social, and practical needs. She serves as a trusted advocate and resource, guiding individuals through healthcare services, connecting them with community resources, assisting with paperwork, and helping families make informed decisions during difficult times.
Jennifer puts Care Matters into action every day through her compassion, advocacy, and dedication. She consistently goes above and beyond to provide the highest level of support, whether coordinating services, assisting a family, or simply offering a listening ear. Her commitment extends beyond her own department as she willingly helps with special events, supports coworkers, and steps in during challenging situations.
“Jennifer handles her whirlwind of a job with the grace and ease of a ballerina,” commented a co-worker. “She keeps the integrity of our organization at the forefront of every move she makes, and her compassion is second to none. She is selfless, kind, and hilarious—and is a true beacon of light.”
Thank you, Jennifer, for your servant heart and unwavering commitment to our residents, patients, families, coworkers, and community. Your kindness and dedication make a meaningful difference every day.
