MCHI Announces Stasia Most as Speech-Language Pathologist

January 24, 2023

Stasia Most, CCC-SLP, Memorial Rehabilitation, Aurora NebraskaMemorial Community Health, Inc. (MCHI) in Aurora, Nebraska is pleased to announce the addition of Stasia Most, CCC-SLP, to the organization’s team of rehabilitation professionals. A graduate of Giltner High School, Stasia attended Morningside College where she played volleyball and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She received her Masters of Science Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and is Certified in Clinical Competency (CCC) by the American Speech Language Hearing Association.

As a Speech-Language Pathologist at MCHI, Stasia is skilled at assessing, diagnosing, treating and helping to prevent communication and swallowing disorders that result from a variety of causes, such as a stroke, accident, brain injury, hearing loss, developmental delay, Parkinson’s disease, cleft palate or autism. She helps patients with articulation, stuttering, fluency, rhythm of speech and more, and treats individuals who have difficulty with language and swallowing.

In addition to providing therapy for a wide range of adults, Stasia has extensive experience working with pediatrics and school children from birth to grade 12. She works with individuals in-office by appointment, within the hospital and long-term care settings, as well as with students at area schools.

“I enjoy working with patients of all ages and abilities, it is the best part of my job,” says Stasia. “Maximizing functional ability and helping to enhance quality of life and independence makes my role as an SLP extremely rewarding, especially when I can apply those skills to people from my own community and surrounding areas. Creating personalized goals for my clients based on their own priorities and coming up with creative ways to reach those goals keeps my clients motivated and excited to attend speech therapy sessions.”

Stasia and her husband have four children and reside in Giltner. When not working, Stasia enjoys helping with her kids’ activities, cooking, attending concerts, playing league volleyball, visiting the family farm, and relaxing at the lake.
