Specializing in Family Medicine
Why did you choose family medicine?
I enjoy caring for people through every stage of life. I have a special passion for women’s health, but I also love caring for the entire family—from children to grandparents. After more than 20 years as a nurse, becoming a family nurse practitioner felt like the perfect way to combine my experience with the opportunity to build long-term relationships and help people stay healthy.
What do you enjoy most about being a provider and working at MCHI?
I’ve seen firsthand the compassion and quality of care the team provides. From my very first visit, I felt genuinely welcomed and valued. It quickly became clear that this was a place where I could grow as a provider while making a difference in the community.
What can a patient expect during a visit with you?
Patients can expect honesty, open communication, and a judgment-free environment. My goal is to make every patient feel comfortable and heard. I’m here to help—not to shame or judge. I want my patients to know they can be open with me, because the more I understand, the better I can care for them. We’ll work together to find the best plan for your health.
What’s one thing you want people to remember most about taking care of their health?
It’s never too late to make a positive change. No matter your age, your health, or where you’re starting, small steps can lead to big improvements over time. My goal is to help patients find changes that are realistic and sustainable, one step at a time.
What are your favorite things to do in your free time?
When I’m not at work, I love spending time with my family, traveling whenever we get the chance, reading a good book, and learning something new every day.
