Memorial Community Health, Inc. (MCHI) in Aurora, Nebraska is proud to announce that Becky Prieto, Medication and Nurse Aide at Memorial Community Care, has been named a Nebraska Hospital Association Caring Kind Award recipient for 2025. For 46 years, the Caring Kind Award has recognized Nebraska’s most caring healthcare workers—those who have demonstrated compassion for patients, cooperation with co-workers, and dedication to excellence in their job responsibilities.
Becky is truly an integral part of the Memorial Community Care team. Anyone who sees her in action knows how deeply she cares for residents. She is passionate about ensuring their needs are met, their rights respected, and their days filled with compassion and kindness. Whether encouraging residents to join activities or sitting with someone who just needs a little extra attention, Becky always goes the extra mile to make each person feel valued.
In addition to her dedication to residents, Becky is a natural leader among her peers. She completes every task with excellence and motivates her team to stay focused and work together. Her co-workers know they can count on her—whether it’s picking up an extra shift or stepping in to help without being asked.
“We can always tell when Becky is on vacation, because the structure just isn’t quite the same,” commented a fellow co-worker. “She holds all of us to a higher standard!”
Becky was recognized as a Caring Kind Award recipient at the Nebraska Hospital Association’s Annual Convention in Omaha on October 24, 2025.
