Memorial Foundation hosts several signature events throughout the year. These events have a significant impact in securing philanthropic funds to ensure that quality health care remains available right here in our community.
- Memorial Foundation’s annual Charitable Gala and Auction is the premier fundraising event for Memorial Community Health. Fine dining, great entertainment and a spirited live auction combine to provide a memorable evening for participants and an important fund raising opportunity for the organization.
- The annual Charitable Golf Tournament takes place in late summer and serves the dual purpose of providing an afternoon of friendly competition for participants while raising funds for Memorial Foundation and Memorial Community Health.
- Memorial Community Health’s Health Fair takes place in conjunction with Hamilton County’s Home & Garden Show each February. Hundreds of area residents take part in this annual health screening and educational event, creating a valuable opportunity for Memorial Foundation and Memorial Community Health to support the community while advancing the organization’s mission of improving community health.
- Memorial Foundation participates in Go Big GIVE which is a 24-hour, online giving event. Organized by the Greater Grand Island Community Foundation and Heartland United Way, this event focuses on growing philanthropy in Hall, Hamilton, Howard, and Merrick Counties. Go Big GIVE takes place online at GoBigGIVE.org on the first Thursday in May and provides donors a convenient way to support Memorial Foundation and other area non-profits.
