Chelsey Hansel, PA-C, Memorial Health Clinic, Aurora NEMemorial Community Health in Aurora, Nebraska is pleased to announce the addition of Chelsey Hansel, PA-C, to their Medical Staff.

Chelsey received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology Comprehensive with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, and a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana.

Chelsey will join the MCHI medical staff on December 1st and will be dedicated to providing care through MCHI's emergency department as well as Memorial Health Clinic's acute care clinic.

Specializing in family care, Chelsey enjoys the opportunity to get to know people, not just based on their medical charts, but also as a person and all the roles they play as a spouse, parent, child, sibling or grandparent. "I am excited to have the opportunity to provide medical care in Aurora. My passion is emergency medicine, but I also thrive in helping with acute care and same day/urgent care concerns," says Hansel. "MCHI offers so many options and specialties to help take care of their community. The friendliness, helpfulness, and kindness have really caught my attention every time I have walked down the halls."

A native of Oshkosh, Chelsey graduated high school from Albion. After becoming a PA, she lived in Arizona for nearly 15 years where she worked in a variety of emergency and acute care settings. Wanting to return to a smaller community, she and her son, now 11, moved back to Nebraska in 2020 and currently reside in York.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her son and significant other, who is a coach and teacher in York. She is a fan of a variety of Husker sports and enjoys traveling and attending musicals at the Orpheum and Lied Center.
